Position Summary: You will provide support in accounts payable and general accounting, ensuring accurate recording and compliance with financial obligations. Key Highlights: 1. Manages high-volume accounts payable processes. 2. Performs bank reconciliations and reviews the trial balance. 3. Prepares cash flow and billing reports. **Junior Accounts Payable Assistant (AP Jr.)** At our company, we focus on ensuring the success of our clients’ operations in Mexico. With over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, we deliver reliable, high-value solutions. **Position Objective** To provide support in the accounts payable and general accounting areas, ensuring accurate recording, control, and compliance with the company’s financial obligations. This position will also serve as the accounting department’s representative within the office. **Primary Responsibilities** * Manage high-volume accounts payable processes. * Receive, review, and validate invoices weekly, ensuring compliance with tax requirements and internal authorizations. * Record accounting entries in the system, ensuring proper cost center allocation. * Schedule and track payments for services, rent, and other financial commitments. * Prepare and print checks, while maintaining an organized control and filing system for checks and supporting documentation. * Perform periodic bank reconciliations. * Review the trial balance and consolidate monthly accounting accounts to ensure accuracy. * Prepare reports required by INEGI. * Prepare and review billing reports. * Generate weekly cash flow reports and perform related reconciliations. * Monitor and ensure correct integration of bank account balances. **Requirements** * **Experience**: 1–2 years in a similar role. * **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Public Accounting, or Financial/Fiscal Engineering. * **Tool Proficiency**: Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate Excel preferred). * **English**: Intermediate to advanced level; written and reading skills are a plus. **Desired Competencies** * Organization and attention to detail. * Proactivity and sense of urgency. * Analytical ability. * Teamwork and effective communication.
