Position Summary:
Senior Labor and Compliance Attorney to lead the legal-labor and regulatory compliance strategy within the metal-mechanical sector, preventing risks.

A metal-mechanical company seeks to hire a **Senior Labor and Compliance Attorney** to lead the company’s legal\-labor, regulatory, and compliance strategy, ensuring lawful plant operations and prevention of labor, administrative, and regulatory risks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provides comprehensive advisory services on individual and collective labor matters.
* Handles and monitors labor lawsuits and conciliation proceedings.
* Manages union relations and conducts labor negotiations.
* Drafts and reviews employment contracts, internal regulations, and policies.
* Coordinates leaves of absence, terminations, and disciplinary procedures.
* Responds to labor and regulatory authority inspections and requests.
* Monitors and ensures compliance with:
* STPS (Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare)
* IMSS (Mexican Institute of Social Security)
* INFONAVIT (National Workers’ Housing Fund Institute)
* Civil Protection
* Environmental and municipal authorities
* Manages and monitors operation permits and licenses:
* waste handling and disposal,
* environmental permits,
* operating licenses,
* industrial regulatory compliance.
* Prevents legal risks and operational contingencies.
* Coordinates with Human Resources and General Management.
* Supervises and coordinates specialized external law firms, as required.
Required Profile:
* Bachelor’s degree in Law (licensed).
* Specialization or solid experience in Corporate Labor Law.
* Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or metal-mechanical companies. (Preferred)
* Experience in regulatory compliance and handling inspections.
* Solid knowledge of:
* Federal Labor Law
* REPSE (Registry of Providers of Specialized Services and Works)
* STPS
* IMSS and INFONAVIT
* NOMs on safety and hygiene
* Civil Protection
* Basic management of permits and industrial environmental regulation
* Experience in labor litigation and conciliations.
* Negotiation and conflict management skills.
* Preventive and operational mindset.

Salary: $3,600\.00 \- $4,000\.00 per week
