Apply here to launch an extraordinary career today.** We are looking for a candidate to fill the role of **Electrical Maintenance Supervisor** to join our team at AES MÉXICO \- MÉRIDA. The person in this role will be responsible for executing and supporting the planning of activities related to corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance of AES Mérida III’s electrical systems. **Key Responsibilities:** * Execution of maintenance activities on electrical systems and equipment. * Analysis of faults in electrical systems and equipment. * Management of service procurement requests to ensure adequate maintenance, maintain inventory levels, and secure spare parts for the power plant, as well as spare parts to sustain reliable and safe operations. * Supervision of area personnel and contracted personnel. * Support to other maintenance and operations departments. * Maintenance of electrical maintenance records for equipment and/or systems (AVR, gas chromatography and physicochemical oil analysis for transformers, relay calibration, etc.) in the SGI. * Use of SAP’s PLM module for maintenance management to comply with Maintenance Work Management. * Participation in the development of maintenance programs. * Verification and follow-up of electrical area measurement equipment. * Collaboration in scheduling, administration, and supervision of major and routine maintenance activities. * Knowledge and application of AES Mérida III’s Integrated Management System policies, procedures, and objectives (ISO 55001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001\.ISO 9001\). * Knowledge, compliance with, and enforcement of safety policies and procedures (Cardinal Rules, Safety Beliefs, Safety Principles, etc.), and standards applicable to the area. * Support in the development, control, administration, and execution of new central improvement projects. * Administration of materials, tools and/or equipment, as well as their manuals. * Preparation and uploading of maintenance reports into the SGI. * Analysis and interpretation of DTIs. * Knowledge and application of AES’s Code of Conduct. * Support in implementing new business initiatives. * Planning and execution of maintenance activities required for proper operation of the nitrate plant. **Requirements:** * Education: Requires technical or electrical engineering knowledge. * Experience: Minimum three years of experience in maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, and in commissioning activities for equipment and systems in power plants. **Knowledge:** * Proficiency in SAP for maintenance scheduling. * Proficiency in using electrical equipment testing instruments. * Knowledge of quality management systems. * Fault analysis in electrical equipment and systems. * Interpretation of electrical diagrams. * Knowledge and application of departmental procedures. * Knowledge and application of safety procedures. * Use of personal protective equipment and systems. * Technical knowledge to respond to emergency situations (blackouts, unit trips, fire hazards, chemical spills). * Technical capability to schedule, control, supervise, and execute activities during scheduled unit outages. * Technical knowledge of main electrical systems and equipment in a combined-cycle power plant (starters, AVR, Power System, etc.). * Knowledge of Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Asset Management Systems. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Technical English. **We are the energy that improves the lives of more than 10 million people, through the many benefits electricity provides.**
