A construction company is seeking:
**Construction Control Analyst**
**Requirements:**
* Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management.
* Age: 25 years or older
* Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in a similar position
**Job Objective:**
To monitor, audit, and evaluate the financial and operational performance of projects by comparing actual incurred costs (purchases, subcontracting, piecework, and warehouse) against the baseline budget and construction schedule, in order to identify deviations, forecast losses, and ensure business profitability.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Load, structure, and control the baseline budget in the system; block or authorize justifiable cost overruns and ensure spending does not exceed the budgeted amount per category.
* Perform monthly cost closings by cross-referencing the project’s actual physical progress against the money spent, issuing variance reports (control charts, S-curves, etc.).
* Review and approve subcontractor agreements and piecework lists (payments to internal labor) prior to submission for management signature, ensuring alignment with budgeted prices.
* Monitor inflows and outflows of critical materials on site (steel, concrete, cement) to detect shortages, theft, or excessive consumption affecting project costs.
* Prepare periodic executive reports for senior management and executives regarding the project’s financial forecast (final cost to complete the project and actual projected profit).
