We are seeking a proactive and organized **Kitchen Supervisor** to serve as the right-hand person to the Chef or Sous Chef. You will be responsible for directly supervising kitchen stations, ensuring accurate recipe execution, and strictly adhering to hygiene and quality standards. This position requires an operational leader capable of maintaining order and motivation in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Operational Supervision:** Supervise the proper and timely execution of *mise en place*. Ensure the team follows standardized recipes and portion sizes. Coordinate workflow to meet order or event delivery deadlines. * **Quality and Hygiene Management:** Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation. Guarantee strict compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations (e.g., Distintivo H or equivalent). * **Inventory and Storage Control:** Supervise proper receipt, storage, and stock rotation of supplies (FIFO). Manage and promptly report procurement needs and waste control. * **Team Leadership:** Train and guide cooks and kitchen assistants, fostering discipline and teamwork. **Essential Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years as Station Supervisor, Cook A, or Junior Sous Chef. **Experience in high-volume Banquets or Catering is highly desirable.** * **Education:** Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Gastronomy. * **Knowledge:** Strong command of culinary techniques, food cost control, and inventory management. * **Skills:** Practical leadership, ability to work under pressure, and excellent organizational skills. * $11500 \- $12000 MXN Monthly Apply to this vacancy to learn more about the hiring process and about us.
