We are looking for a **Purchasing Engineer** to strengthen our team. Job Objective: Secure optimal purchasing conditions while meeting stakeholders’ requirements regarding cost, quality, on-time delivery, invested capital, and innovation. Our purpose is to ensure universal access to clean, efficient, and high-quality energy. **Do you share our energy?** Your Responsibilities: * Analyze engineering drawings, technical specifications, and supplier responses to support data-driven sourcing decisions. * Conduct supplier capability assessments, identify performance gaps, and support supplier selection aligned with business strategies. * Collaborate with global teams to support negotiations and agreements with suppliers. **What Do You Need to Succeed?** * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field * Preferred specialization in strategic procurement or supply chain * Intermediate–advanced English (for international suppliers) * 5 years of experience as a purchaser * Solid ability to interpret engineering drawings * Prior experience in procurement of: reclosers / sectionalizers, power switches, control and protection components, electrical panels, electromechanical components * Supplier development experience * Intermediate–advanced conversational English is mandatory (interview will be conducted in English) * Advanced Excel proficiency * Willingness to travel and valid standard driver’s license **Our Selection Process:** At Arteche, we believe that **diversity enriches our organization**, and therefore, we value and promote talent based on **equal opportunity**, encouraging everyone to contribute their knowledge, experiences, and skills regardless of personal or social circumstances.
