Coordination of communication between supervision and support areas **Job Title:** Junior Engineer ### **Department: Juanicipio Mine** **Reports to:** Senior Project Engineer **JOB OBJECTIVE (Summary)** ### **The COM Engineer is responsible for tracking, controlling, and analyzing mining operations,** **integrating information from different departments to ensure compliance with production, safety, cost, and schedule plans,** **supporting operational decision-making.** **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Monitor underground mining operations in real time and retrospectively. * Track progress of work and production against weekly and monthly plans. * Analyze operational deviations (progress, tonnage, time, equipment, and personnel). * Consolidate information from mining, surveying, planning, and maintenance departments. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. * Coordinate communication between mine supervision and support departments. * Monitor critical events: safety incidents, stoppages, geometric and operational deviations. * Propose corrective actions to improve productivity and operational continuity. * Ensure accurate capture and traceability of operational information. **Tools and Software:** * Operations control systems (COM, Dispatch, or others). * Advanced Excel and data analysis tools. * Power BI or other visualization platforms. * AutoCAD (reading and validation of drawings). **Education and Experience.** * Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
