Start your journey with BCD: grow, connect, collaborate, and celebrate with our global team. **.** **Database Administrator** *Full-time, Monterrey, Hybrid.* We are looking for a **TALENTED** **SQL SERVER DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR** with **MORE THAN 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE**, highly motivated and results-oriented, to join our team. This position is critical to ensuring optimal availability, security, and performance of our databases, supporting business operations and growth. **Key Responsibilities:** * Install and upgrade SQL SERVER instances. * Administer, maintain, and optimize relational and/or non-relational databases. * Implement backup, recovery, and high-availability architecture strategies and policies—both on-premises and in the cloud (MULTI-REGION). (Backup and Restore, Always On, Log Shipping, Replication) * Implement security policies and audits. * Monitor performance and make adjustments to ensure efficiency. Profiler, xEvents. * Manage database security and access controls. * Package ETL SQL SSIS: DTSX, SSISDB. * Data exploitation platforms, BI (Artus, QlikView, QlikSense). * Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement scalable solutions. * Document procedures and best practices. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * Proven experience in database administration (SQL Server 2019–2022, MySQL). * Knowledge of query optimization and schema design. * Experience with performance monitoring and management tools such as execution plans, indexes, and resource utilization. * High Availability strategies. * Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash; Python preferred). * BI, ETL SSIS. * English [INTERMEDIATE]. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). * Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra). * PLUS: Database administration certifications. **Offer:** * Competitive salary * Grocery vouchers * Uniform vouchers * Food assistance * 8% savings fund contribution * SGMM * Life insurance * Funeral expense support * 20 days’ bonus (Aguinaldo) **.** Who We Are.
