Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment Java Developer – Hybrid Role in Toluca We are looking for a **Java Developer** to join a technology team supporting enterprise\-level applications for a major financial client. This role is ideal for someone with hands\-on Java development experience, strong backend knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with technical and business teams in an Agile environment. The position follows a **hybrid work model in Toluca, 3 days per week onsite**. Transportation support may be provided by the company if the selected candidate is unable to commute independently. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, and maintain Java\-based applications. * Build and support backend services, APIs, and application components. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including developers, QA, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and business stakeholders. * Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues. * Support application enhancements, integrations, and production stability. * Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and Agile delivery processes. * Contribute to documentation, technical analysis, and sprint deliverables. Required Qualifications * Previous experience as a **Java Developer**, Backend Developer, or Software Engineer. * Hands\-on experience with **Java** and object\-oriented programming. * Experience developing APIs, backend services, or enterprise applications. * Familiarity with frameworks such as **Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar**. * Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. * Understanding of RESTful services, version control, and software development lifecycle. * Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments. * Strong problem\-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. * Comfortable working in a hybrid model, attending the office in Toluca 3 days per week. * English proficiency is desirable. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise\-level projects. * Familiarity with microservices architecture. * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Knowledge of CI/CD tools, unit testing, or DevOps practices. * Experience with tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, or Docker. Work Model * **Hybrid position:** 3 days per week onsite in Toluca. * **Transportation support:** Available if the candidate is unable to commute independently. * **Client:** Financial services / banking sector.
