Identifies and reports potential problem areas.**Job Description:** * Identifies maintenance and reliability issues by observing and studying system operation and performance results; investigating complaints and suggestions; conducting interviews with process supervisors and operators. * Anticipates maintenance and reliability issues by studying operational objectives, modes of operation, unit limitations; monitoring unit performance (FMEA). * Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to organizational standards and policies and legal regulations; addressing issues immediately and alerting others to potential concerns. * Provides maintenance management information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operational and engineering data and trends. * Contributes to engineering and organizational success by receiving related, diverse, and new requests; assisting others in achieving work outcomes. * Would like to add a reliability statement for new equipment as an additional bullet point ... do we ever receive such statements from SMEs? * All other assigned tasks. **Required Skills and Education** **General Description:** Responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for production equipment and facilities under their responsibility. Their primary function is to ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of production assets, contributing to operational continuity and achievement of production, quality, and safety objectives. **Specific Description:** Design and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for machinery, equipment, and industrial infrastructure. Systematically analyze recurring equipment failures, investigate root causes, and propose effective technical solutions. Coordinate with technicians and suppliers for execution of corrective maintenance and improvement projects. Ensure critical production equipment maintains high availability levels (OEE). Monitor and analyze key maintenance metrics such as MTTR, MTBF, and downtime. Manage technical documentation, equipment histories, maintenance plans, and procedures. Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Ensure compliance with industrial safety, environmental, and applicable regulatory requirements. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth process operation.
