**Date:** May 23, 2026 **Location:** Mexico, Mexico City **Company:** deloittemx **What does a typical day in this role look like?** As a DMSS II Developer, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining databases in DMSS II, ensuring their optimal performance within Unisys environments. Your role will include designing, modifying, and optimizing data structures, as well as developing and supporting applications that interact with these databases. You will be required to conduct impact analyses for changes, monitor performance and availability, and efficiently resolve incidents in production environments. You must also document processes, data structures, and information flows; collaborate on legacy system migration or modernization projects; and ensure data integrity and security at all times. You will work in a dynamic and enriching environment alongside people from diverse cultures, perspectives, specialties, and knowledge backgrounds. We are motivated by generating meaningful impact in everything we do. **What qualifications are required?** * Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree * Minimum 4 years of verifiable experience in DMSS II administration or development, experience in Unisys MCP environments, and experience with mission-critical legacy systems (e.g., finance, government, insurance) * Knowledge: DMSS II data modeling (DMSII schema, datasets, sets), associated programming languages (COBOL, ALGOL, or equivalent in MCP environments), proficiency with utilities such as WFL (Work Flow Language), database monitoring and tuning, backup and recovery management, and integration with external systems * Technical English * Technology tools: Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases * Skills: Analytical ability, effective communication, organization, adaptability, results orientation, high quality standards, negotiation, problem-solving, and passion for technology **Why Deloitte?** Through our work, we generate significant impact—making a positive difference for our clients, society, and the planet.
