Requirements * Required education level: Secondary school / technical secondary * Experience: 1 \- 2 years in table service * Knowledge and tools: + Knowledge of menu and allergens + Mastery of service rules (serve from the right, remove from the left) and proper handling of glassware and flatware. + Knowledge of wines, liquors, and mixology to recommend the ideal beverage to accompany meals. + Proficiency in point-of-sale software (e.g., Micros, Infor, or PixelPoint) and room charge processing. + Knowledge of the “Distintivo H” certification for hygienic food and beverage handling. * Language(s): + None * Skills and competencies: + Teamwork + Motivation + Strategic planning + Proactivity + Critical thinking * Candidate availability: + No travel required Schedule Some days Full-time 07:00 \- 15:00 Schedule clarifications: Details provided during interview Responsibilities and Activities * Serve food and beverages according to kitchen timing and hotel service protocols. * Set tables with necessary equipment (linens, cutlery, glasses) prior to service commencement. * Advise guests on chef’s specialties or current promotions. * Enter orders into the system for immediate transmission to the kitchen or bar. * Clean and clear tables discreetly once guests have completed each course. * Anticipate guest needs (refill water glasses, offer additional bread, remove finished plates). * Greet guests with a warm and professional welcome, using their names when possible. * Present the food menu and the day’s wine or cocktail list. * Take orders accurately, noting special requests or cooking preferences.
