Requisition ID: 254381 Join a purpose-driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. **Purpose** As a Backend Developer Consultant, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and implementation of backend solutions for our financial platforms and services. You will work in an agile environment, closely collaborating with other engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver high-quality features that meet the banking industry’s stringent requirements for performance, security, and reliability. **Responsibilities** 1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance APIs and backend services using modern technologies. 2. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following software development best practices and security standards. 3. Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, and production deployment. 4. Collaborate with architects to ensure solutions align with the company’s technology strategy and standards. 5. Work jointly with frontend and mobile teams to effectively integrate backend functionalities. 6. Implement and maintain rigorous security and sensitive data protection measures, complying with banking and financial regulations. 7. Design and optimize relational and/or NoSQL database schemas, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and performance for financial data. 8. Develop and implement unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure code quality and stability. 9. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to elevate the team’s technical proficiency. 10. Identify and resolve performance issues and bugs in backend systems. 11. Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, including CI/CD and automation. 12. Stay current on the latest trends and technologies in backend development and security, particularly those relevant to the financial sector. 13. Collaborate with operations teams (DevOps) for application deployment and monitoring in production environments. **Education / Experience** o 3+ years of proven backend development experience. o Familiarity with agile development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban). o Prior experience serving as Tech Lead or architect on strategic projects. * Technical Skills o Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one relevant backend programming language (Java with SpringBoot, Python with Django/Flask, Node.js with Express, C# with .NET, Golang). o Experience working with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) and ability to write efficient queries. o Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. o Deep understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns, and SOLID principles. o Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. o Strong security orientation in software development (DevSecOps), including awareness of common vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies. o Experience administering Linux/Unix servers.* Soft Skills o Communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively—both verbally and in writing—with team members, technical and non-technical stakeholders. This includes explaining technical solutions, discussing requirements, and participating in agile ceremonies. o Teamwork: Ability to collaborate constructively with other developers, QA testers, Product Managers, architects, and other team members.
