Review and execution of accounting operational controls, generation of financial, accounting, and tax reports, as well as matters related to the department’s administrative accounting processes. * Administration and control of the billing process includes issuance. * Review of transactions generated by the HIE system and manual entries. * In charge of process automation projects. * Generation of daily, weekly, and monthly accounting information. * Operational and accounting recording of daily transactions generated within the global trade department. * Review of transactions generated by the HIE system and manual entries. * Operational-accounting reconciliations. * Financial, accounting, and tax reporting analysis and generation. * SOX compliance. * As well as matters related to the department’s accounting processes. **Requirements.** * Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Accounting or related field. * Knowledge of administrative and billing, accounting and tax matters, as well as applicable regulations. * Professional experience preferred. * English (intermediate/advanced). * Excel (intermediate/advanced). * Experience with PeopleSoft, GL, or any other accounting system. * Team-oriented and enthusiastic. * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving and changing priorities. “At HSBC, we expect our people to treat each other with dignity and respect, fostering an inclusive culture that promotes equal opportunity.
