Position Objective Ensure the handcrafted production of high-quality bakery and pastry items for our dining venues, guaranteeing freshness, technical precision, and exceptional presentation that enhances our guests' gastronomic experience. Main Responsibilities * **Artisanal Production:** Preparation of savory bread, sweet bread, and sourdough bread following the hotel’s standard recipes. * **Fermentation Management:** Control of timing, temperature, and humidity to ensure optimal texture and flavor. * **Assembly and Display:** Preparation of bakery stations for breakfast and special services, maintaining boutique aesthetics. * **Ingredient Control:** Hygienic handling of raw materials (Distintivo H certification) and strict control of waste. * **Warehouse Management:** Conducting inventories of flours, grains, and yeasts to ensure operational stock levels. * **Innovation:** Collaboration in developing seasonal bakery items and support in designing the pastry menu. Requirements * **Minimum Education:** Technical high school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Gastronomy (baking specialization preferred). * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in similar roles within hospitality or high-volume artisanal bakeries. * **Technical Knowledge:** Proficiency in kneading, shaping, baking, and understanding of strong flours. * **Attitude:** Sense of urgency, attention to detail, and excellent personal presentation. * **Preferred Age Range:** 20 to 45 years. Employment Conditions * **Base Salary:** $12,000 MXN per month (bi-weekly payments on the 1st and 16th\). * **Accommodation:** Shared housing included (ideal for candidates from outside the island). * **Meals:** Cafeteria service according to assigned shift. * **Benefits:** Year-end bonus and vacation entitlements as stipulated by the Federal Labor Law. * **Additional Benefits:** Private medical service.
