**The best Energy company in Querétaro, TIP ENERGY, invites you to become part of this great family in the position of:** **LINEMAN TECHNICIAN** **REQUIREMENTS:** Minimum education: Secondary school Age: 27 to 45 years old Experience in working at heights, working in tight spaces, working in confined spaces, rigging operations, medium and low voltage work, and grounding system work. **JOB OBJECTIVE:** Carry out overhead and underground installation activities for medium and low voltage systems, considering customer-contracted services, company policies, and compliance with applicable safety requirements. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** **OVERHEAD MEDIUM AND LOW VOLTAGE LINES**: * Excavation of pole bases. * Installation of concrete poles, double towers, single towers, PAT poles. * Pole assembly using manlifts, baskets, or elevated platforms. * Knowledge of hardware and materials names used in medium and low voltage systems (crossarms, insulators, bolts, frames, clamps, brackets, preformed terminations, compression connectors, cable types). * Knowledge of types and assembly of overhead medium voltage line structures (overhang, straight run, termination, anchor, overhung anchor, overhung termination). * Knowledge of types and assembly of overhead low voltage line structures (B1, B2, B3, B4, terminations, anchors, pole-mounted transformers). * Knowledge of types and installation of guy wires (single and double anchor, single and double stake, single pole, sidewalk guy). * Knowledge of tensioning overhead medium and low voltage lines. * Knowledge of installation of special equipment: compact metering sets, reclosers, pole-mounted transformers, single-pole switches, all-duty switches, fuse cutout transitions. * Termination of overhead medium and low voltage lines. * Wiring of overhead cables (ACSR, insulated, neutral, DRS). **UNDERGROUND MEDIUM AND LOW VOLTAGE LINES:** * Excavation of trenches and pits for conduits and junction boxes. * Knowledge of types of medium and low voltage junction boxes (Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, Type 4, transformer bases 3 and 4, reduced boxes Type 5 and 6, inspection wells PVX, PVT, PVP, PVC). * Knowledge of installing cable rollers and organizing underground medium and low voltage cables. * Knowledge of wiring XLP cables for medium and low voltage. * Knowledge of installing grounding systems and lightning arresters. * Knowledge of underground medium voltage accessories: load-break elbows, fuse elbows, caps, bushings, inserts, tap connectors, T-connectors, adapters. * Knowledge of underground low voltage accessories: closure sleeves, connectors. * Installation of special equipment: pad-mounted transformers, disconnect switches, hypercompact substations, compact metering sets. * Knowledge of manufacturing heat-shrink terminations, load-break elbows, fuse elbows, T-connectors. **TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT HANDLING:** * Use and operation of articulated boom crane. * Truck handling. * Use and operation of compactor roller (bailarina). * Use and operation of hoist. * Use and operation of strapping tool. * Use and operation of hydraulic and mechanical punch tool. * Use and operation of manlift. **WE OFFER:** * Statutory benefits * Grocery vouchers * Uniforms * Ongoing training * Excellent work environment * Salary based on experience Job type: Full-time Salary: $14,000.00 - $16,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite contract * Life insurance * Free uniforms Work location: On-site
