**FREIGHT AGENT** **JOB SUMMARY:** Responsible for receiving, classifying, handling, and coordinating the shipment of air cargo in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner with current regulations. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: * Receive packages and cargo shipments * Classify cargo by destination, priority, or type (commercial, perishable, hazardous, etc.) * Prepare cargo for transport, ensuring compliance with safety regulations * Assist in loading and unloading aircraft or trucks * Coordinate cargo movement with other departments (ramp, security, customs) * Conduct physical and security inspections. **REQUIREMENTS:** Minimum of 1 year of experience in air cargo or related field **SKILLS:** Attention to detail and accuracy, organization and time management **LANGUAGES:** No additional language required **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:** Cargo handling procedures, knowledge of aviation safety regulations and ground operations **EDUCATION** Completed secondary school
