QA Tester

Description

A professional specialized in functional testing and systems analysis, with experience in the payment systems ecosystem and operation of applications related to debit and credit cards. The role will be responsible for executing functional validation processes, incident analysis, and requirements elicitation, participating in initiatives related to transactional flows, card lifecycle, and applications associated with financial and operational processes. Key responsibilities: · Execute functional tests on applications linked to the payment systems ecosystem. · Validate transactional flows for debit and credit cards, ensuring correct operation of functional and operational processes. · Review and validate batch interfaces and system integrations. · Participate in functional validation of applications related to clearing and settlement processes. · Execute tests and validations related to the card lifecycle: (Service enrollment / Card assignment / Activation / Blocking / Replacement / Service cancellation). · Perform requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation for functional and operational needs. · Prepare detailed functional documentation for handover and tracking with the development team. · Track incidents identified during functional testing and validate their proper resolution. · Conduct incident analysis and traceability within the end-to-end transactional flow. · Maintain appropriate documentation control for requirements, test matrices, functional evidence, and identified incidents. Required profile: Education: · Engineering/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field. Professional experience: · Minimum 3–5 years of experience in functional QA, systems analysis, and payment systems ecosystems. · Demonstrable experience in functional testing of applications and transactional flows for debit and credit cards. · Experience in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting functional requirements. · Desired experience or knowledge of clearing and settlement processes. Technical knowledge: · Basic knowledge of databases, communications, and technological infrastructure. · Ability to understand interactions (APIs, Web Services, Batch jobs) among application components, services, and integrations within the transactional flow. · Ability to understand the end-to-end transactional flow. Competencies: · Analytical ability and attention to detail. · Organization and documentation control. · Effective communication with technical, operational, and business teams. · Incident tracking and functional analysis capability. · Collaborative work and results orientation.
