We are a National Cisco Partner, specializing in infrastructure solutions, enterprise networking, and managed services.
We are looking for a **Switching and Wired Node Engineer** with experience in installation, certification, administration, and support of structured cabling infrastructure and enterprise LAN networks, focused on critical environments and telecommunications projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Installation, configuration, and support of wired network nodes in enterprise environments.
* Implementation of structured cabling infrastructure (voice, data, and video).
* Basic Cisco switch configuration for node enablement (VLANs, access ports, trunking).
* Network point certification using specialized equipment (Fluke or equivalent).
* Diagnosis and correction of structured cabling faults (UTP and fiber optic).
* Installation and labeling of patch panels, racks, and data center organization.
* LAN infrastructure support for networking devices, CCTV, and enterprise systems.
* Surveying and documentation of network nodes in implementation projects.
* Coordination with networking, CCTV, security, and civil works teams.
* Ensuring compliance with installation standards and best cabling practices.
* Participation in network infrastructure expansion and migration projects.
**Requirements**
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Networking, Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
**Certifications (preferred):** CCNA, structured cabling certifications (Panduit or equivalent).
**Technical Knowledge:**
* Structured cabling (UTP Cat 5e, 6, 6A)
* Basic fiber optics (single-mode and multi-mode)
* Network node installation
* Patch panels, racks, and cable management
* Link certification using Fluke or similar equipment
* Basic/intermediate Cisco switching
* Basic VLANs, access ports, and trunking
* Enterprise LAN networks
* TCP/IP, basic IP addressing
* Identification and resolution of physical network faults
* Best practices for installation and labeling
**Preferred Experience:**
* 1–3 years installing structured cabling and network nodes.
* Experience in enterprise LAN infrastructure projects.
* Fieldwork (on-site installations, construction sites, or data centers).
* Basic switching support on Cisco or equivalent switches.
**Other Requirements:**
* Availability for fieldwork
* Availability for travel
* Work at heights or physical installations (preferred)
* Technical English (preferred)

Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term
Salary: $20,000.00 \- $25,000.00 per month
