SMT Process Engineer

Job Summary: This position seeks an SMT Process Engineer to optimize and control manufacturing processes, ensuring productivity, quality, and production efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. SMT process optimization and control to ensure productivity and quality. 2. Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) and analyze failures. 3. Provide support for new product introduction and process standardization. **SMT Process Engineer** **Objective** Optimize and control SMT processes to ensure productivity, quality, and production efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** * Program, adjust, and improve SMT processes (solder paste printing, reflow oven). * Analyze defects, scrap, and downtime; implement corrective actions. * Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma). * Support new product introduction (NPI) and pilot runs. * Monitor KPIs (yield, OEE, scrap) and ensure compliance. * Standardize processes and generate technical documentation. * Coordinate with maintenance to improve equipment reliability. * Comply with 5S, TPM, EHS, quality, and safety requirements. **Requirements** * Relevant engineering degree (electronics, industrial, mechanical). * \+3 years of experience in SMT processes. * Advanced technical English. **Knowledge** * SMT (programming and/or setup, solder paste printer, SPI, reflow ovens). * Failure analysis and continuous improvement. * SPC, Lean Manufacturing. * Stencil design. * Interpretation of reflow oven profiles. * Fixture design. * Interpretation of technical drawings (drawings). **Skills** * Problem analysis and resolution. * Technical leadership. * Teamwork. * Results-oriented approach.
