Visit us at www.acuityinc.com. **Job Summary** ----------------------- The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for driving productivity initiatives, process optimization, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing operation. The position will support operational efficiency through line balancing, cycle time analysis, bottleneck identification, layout improvements, and waste reduction—from SMT processes through final packaging. A strong hands\-on focus within the manufacturing floor is required. **Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)** ----------------------------------------------------------- * Conduct time studies, cycle time analysis, and line balancing to improve productivity and operational efficiency. * Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement within manufacturing. * Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives focused on waste reduction, productivity improvement, and process optimization. * Lead and participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives. * Support process changes, layout modifications, and manufacturing flow improvements using AutoCAD and related tools. * Maintain up\-to\-date process documentation, manufacturing standards, and change history. * Analyze manufacturing capacity and support data\-driven decision\-making based on productivity metrics and cycle times. * Collaborate closely with Production, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to support daily operations. * Support operations from SMT through packing in high\-volume manufacturing environments. * Drive problem\-solving initiatives and corrective actions related to manufacturing performance. **Experience (Minimum Required Experience)** ---------------------------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field. * 4–5\+ years of experience in SMT or electronics manufacturing environments as a Process Engineer. * Strong hands\-on experience conducting time studies, line balancing, bottleneck analysis, and productivity improvement. * Experience in SMT or electronics manufacturing preferred. * Experience working with Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Kaizen initiatives. * Experience supporting layout changes and manufacturing flow improvements. * Proficiency in AutoCAD for layout changes. (must) * Analytical mindset, problem\-solving ability, and process ownership. * Strong communication and cross\-functional collaboration skills. * Advanced English proficiency. **Travel Requirements** ----------------------- * 0\-5%.
