Second-Level Implementation and Cybersecurity Support Engineer

DESCRIPTION **Job Description:** The Second-Level Implementation and Cybersecurity Support Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the implementation, delivery, and specialized support of cybersecurity solutions, with a primary focus on Cisco / Palo Alto solutions among other vendors. This professional must be capable of providing advanced technical support, resolving security incidents, and managing proper enterprise-level configuration of cybersecurity tools. REQUIREMENTS **Technical Skills and Requirements:** * **Cisco Solutions Knowledge:** * Experience implementing and supporting Cisco solutions, especially Cisco Firepower, Cisco Umbrella, and Cisco ISE; for other vendors: Checkpoint, Fortinet, F5 * In-depth knowledge of networking and security protocols (VPN, firewalling, IPS/IDS). * **Cybersecurity Skills:** * Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity principles and best practices for preventing and mitigating threats. * Familiarity with intrusion detection and prevention technologies (IDS/IPS) and network traffic analysis. * **Antimalware Controls:** * Knowledge and experience with malware and vulnerability protection tools, such as antivirus, antimalware, and other protective solutions. * Implementation and maintenance of security policies for malicious threat detection, prevention, and mitigation. * **Relevant Certifications:** * Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CCNP Security. * Fortinet certifications * Checkpoint certification * Antimalware certifications * F5 certifications * Palo Alto FW certifications **Additional Skills:** * **Communication Skills:** Ability to communicate effectively with customers, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders. * **Analytical Thinking:** Ability to solve complex problems using a logical and structured approach. * **Teamwork:** Ability to collaborate efficiently with other teams and departments. * **Time Management:** Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently. **Required Experience:** * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in similar technical support roles within cybersecurity. * Experience implementing and supporting Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, and F5 solutions. * Knowledge and experience managing network and security infrastructures.
