




Position Summary: Supports store operations by executing sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service processes to achieve operational and commercial metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assists in arranging and displaying merchandise on the sales floor. 2. Provides excellent customer service and closes sales at the counter. 3. Processes transactions at the cash register and handles returns. Provide support for in-store floor operational activities by executing applicable operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet assigned store operational and commercial metrics. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and trucks in accordance with applicable merchandising guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper facing and labeling to classify merchandise and participate in opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor to ensure accurate merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing to deliver excellent service reflected in counter sales closures; handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions using cash or credit cards, and process returns in compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction completion. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
