SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Provide floor-level operational support in store activities by executing sales-related operational processes, merchandise stocking, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks, as well as sales-floor cleaning activities, to ensure correct merchandise placement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by clarifying questions regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in front-counter sales closure; also handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or cards, and process returns in compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales-closing transactions. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
