Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cashier with Soft Restaurant background for a rotating weekend position, responsible for processing payments, issuing invoices, and balancing the cash register at a restaurant. Management of the restaurant's social media accounts. **JOIN OUR TEAM** **OPENING: CHANGO RESTAURANT.** Position Title: **CASHIER.** **Rotating Weekend Shift – 8 Hours (Variable Schedule)** **Friday and Saturday** *Job Purpose* * Receive payments in cash, credit/debit cards, and other electronic methods. * Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems. * Issue invoices and purchase receipts accurately. * Ensure cash reconciliation at the start and end of each shift. * Address and resolve customer billing inquiries or issues. * Coordinate with servers and management regarding any discrepancies in accounts or billing. * Record discounts, promotions, and tips according to restaurant policies. * Maintain a clean and organized workstation. * Manage delivery of consumption notes for server tips. * Immediately report any cash discrepancies to management. * Assist with takeout order taking when necessary. * Manage the restaurant’s social media accounts (per established strategy). *Required Values:* * Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, Commitment, Loyalty, Punctuality, Ethics, Dedication. *Preferred Experience:* * Experience with Soft Restaurant. * Minimum 1–2 years. *Skills:* * Teamwork * Working under pressure * Dynamic * Proactivity *Basic Work Tools:* * Computer equipment * Sales software * Point-of-sale terminal Position Type: Friday and Saturday.
