Key responsibilities: Coordinate the preparation of construction drawings (architecture, construction details, finishes, carpentry, masonry, etc.). Translate conceptual and architectural designs into technical information ready for construction. Ensure consistency and compatibility among architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Identify and resolve technical interferences prior to site implementation. Standardize office criteria, details, and documentation. Supervise and review drawings produced by the team. Control quality, timelines, and deliverables of the construction drawing package. Serve as the liaison between site, suppliers, and internal teams, clarifying technical queries. Source and negotiate with suppliers. Specific Activities: INFORMATION DEVELOPMENT (REVIT) Coordinate the development of the project’s construction drawing package. Identify outstanding project issues and propose solutions. Define scope, phases, and deliverables for the workshop. Assign tasks to drafters and architects. Track delivery deadlines and progress. TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT AND REVIEW Develop construction drawings: Preliminary, Architectural, Masonry, Finishes, Windows and Doors, Metalwork, Carpentry, Lighting. Review drawings to ensure regulatory compliance and constructibility. INTERDISCIPLINARY COORDINATION Coordinate drawings with: Structural Engineering, MEP Systems (plumbing, sanitary, electrical, specialty), and External Consultants. Identify and resolve interferences among disciplines. Integrate corrections and updates into the final construction drawing set.
