A reputable machining and mechanical parts manufacturing services company is seeking: **Production Supervisor for Machining Workshop.** **Objective:** Design, implement, and operate a robust production system that enhances the machining workshop’s profitability, productivity, control, and predictability. ***This position is NOT for following existing processes—it is to CREATE them from scratch, document them, measure them, and continuously improve them. Mandatory experience implementing production systems from scratch (not merely operating or maintaining them). 100% KNOWLEDGE OF METHODOLOGY CREATION. Essential knowledge: Lathes, milling machines, CNC, conventional machining, and machining processes. Experience in workshops or production areas with operational staff. Supervision of operators. Implementation of: Production KPIs, OEE, Scrap Rate. Tracking of work orders. Monitoring of production progress. Supervision of operators. Ability to firmly enforce standards. Orderliness in reporting, metrics, and delivery deadlines. Focus on productivity, quality, timelines, and compliance. Desirable experience in 5S, continuous improvement, or ISO. Strong judgment to prioritize urgent issues and resolve problems on the shop floor. On-Time Delivery (OTD) compliance. Productivity control, reduction of scrap, and rework. **Key Technical Knowledge:** CNC and conventional machining Production Planning and Control (PPC) Industrial maintenance: Preventive, corrective, predictive ISO 9001 standard Implementation, documentation, internal audits, continuous improvement Lean Manufacturing: Six Sigma, TPM, 5S. **Responsibilities:** **1\. Building the Production System** Design and implement the complete production system Process flow Operational standards Control routines Document critical processes (not bureaucracy—processes that actually work). **2\. Control and Measurement:** Implement clear and actionable production KPIs. Design and implement a production-focused "Balanced Scorecard." Measure productivity by: Machine, Operator, Project Monitor actual vs. standard time. **3\. Productivity and Profitability** Increase productivity Machine utilization Reduce: Rework, scrap, unplanned downtime Align production with the company’s financial objectives. **Skills:** Strong analytical ability. Firm yet intelligent leadership. Execution capability (not just theory). Results- and data-oriented mindset. Order, structure, and follow-up.
