**In this role:**
You will be responsible for coordinating activities to meet the Production Plan, overseeing operational processes through supervision of your team (operators) throughout the entire production process, and verifying delivery of finished products meeting Quality, safety, and security standards.
**Your day-to-day responsibilities**
· **Production process management**: Coordinate daily plant operations, ensuring production continuity and compliance with quality and safety standards.
· **Resource optimization**: Supervise efficient use of raw materials, equipment, and auxiliary services, ensuring productivity and waste reduction.
· **Continuous improvement**: Participate in process improvement projects, applying methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
· **Technological implementation**: Collaborate on the introduction of new products and processes via technology transfers, coordinated with Engineering, Research & Development, and Quality departments.
· **Systems management**: Record and track raw materials, finished products, and supplements in Oracle system.
· **Preventive maintenance**: Jointly schedule with Maintenance and Planning departments preventive maintenance plans for critical facilities and equipment.
· **Talent development**: Train and advise operational staff, ensuring effective onboarding and compliance with the annual training program.
· **Union management**: Administer payroll, leaves, and vacations for unionized personnel, maintaining balanced labor relations.
· **Regulatory compliance**: Ensure implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), documentation, HACCP, RSPO, BRCGS, EXCiPACT, and other quality management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
· Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) and OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) management systems, as well as safety, health, and environmental regulations.
· **Committee participation**: Represent the department in product safety meetings and internal/external audits.
· **Shift handover**: Conduct shift handovers to ensure operational continuity and effective communication among teams.
**Requirements**: To succeed in this role, candidates must have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
· Language: English (Desirable)
· Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office.
**Experience in:**
· Chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industry; experience in esterification and ethoxylation processes, batch reactor polymerization, and handling hazardous substances is desirable.
· 3–5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor and managing work teams. (Required)
**Knowledge of:**
· Safety, health, environment, good manufacturing practices and documentation, as well as quality standards.
· Availability to rotate morning, afternoon, and night shifts
· Shift schedule: (1) 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. / (2) 2:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
· Monday to Sunday, with rotating days off. *Role rotates weekly
