### **Job Description: Production Supervisor – Rewinding Area (Mixed Shift 1st and 2nd)** **Location:** Pesquería, N.L. **Schedule:** Mixed shift (rotating between 1st and 2nd shift) **Position Objective:** Ensure the achievement of the rewinding area production plan, guaranteeing operational efficiency, product quality, personnel safety, and compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs). ### **Requirements:** * **Completed Engineering degree** (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field). * **Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience** as a **Production Supervisor** in manufacturing or continuous process environments. * Solid knowledge of **rewinding processes** (preferably in paper, textile, plastic, or metal-mechanical industries). * **Proficiency in production KPIs** (efficiency, productivity, scrap, on-time delivery, quality). * **Intermediate Excel skills** (pivot tables, charts, performance reporting). * **Leadership, effective communication, and decision-making under pressure.** * Experience in **line balancing, continuous improvement, time and motion analysis.** * Knowledge of **Industrial Safety and Hygiene** and compliance with applicable regulations. ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Achieve and ensure compliance with **KPIs for efficiency, productivity, quality, scrap, and production plan fulfillment.** * **Plan and balance production lines**, optimizing the use of human and material resources. * **Supervise and coordinate operational staff** (team leaders, technicians, and operators), fostering a safe, organized, and collaborative work environment. * Ensure compliance with **safety and hygiene standards**, promoting a “**Zero Accidents**” culture. * **Monitor and report daily production results**, root causes of deviations, and corrective actions taken. * **Analyze performance data** and generate reports in Excel (intermediate level) to support decision-making. * Ensure **final product quality** meets internal specifications and standards. * Participate in **continuous improvement meetings** (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen) and process optimization projects. * Coordinate with **Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics** to ensure smooth production flow and on-time deliveries. * Train and develop operational personnel, driving individual and team performance improvement. ### **Key Competencies:** * Results orientation * Operational leadership * Teamwork and communication * Problem-solving * Focus on safety and quality * Planning and organization
