What will you do? Siemens is growing, and we are excited to welcome new experienced mechanical engineers to the medium voltage power distribution team! We pride ourselves on creating a diverse and engaging environment where experienced engineers can sharpen their skills and continue to grow.* Work with guidance from assigned mentor and/or an experienced engineer to design models of parts and assemblies for energy management equipment from concepted 2D sketches to completed 3D models. * Be a critical part of a custom designed to order business focused on unique customer requirements. * Work directly with the factory manufacturing team addressing any challenges as they produce your designs. * Help improve our products by working collaboratively to identify design enhancements and then working to integrate them. * Create Bills of Materials, develop new assemblies, validate functionality, and release the part/assemblies to production. What will you need to succeed?* BS in Mechanical Engineering. * 1 years experience in 3D modeling on the job or demonstrated knowledge on school projects. * No travel required, optional remote work part time after training. * Experience with mechanical design for medium voltage switchgear. * Advance English level.
