DE C.V. is seeking a JUNIOR ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT in Progreso Nacional \- Gustavo A. Madero, Ciudad de México** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ensure accurate recording, control, and analysis of the company’s accounting transactions—with emphasis on construction projects—to guarantee reliable, timely, and regulation-compliant financial information. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately and promptly record accounting journal entries (revenues, expenses, general ledger). Monitor and reconcile accounting accounts (customers, suppliers, advances, work-in-progress). Prepare bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies. Track and record project costs (materials, labor, subcontractors, indirects). Compile and validate data for monthly and annual financial closings. Support preparation of financial statements and managerial reports. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Validate invoicing (revenues and expenses) per tax requirements. Fulfill tax obligations (VAT, Income Tax, DIOT, etc.) in coordination with the Accountant. Assemble accounting and tax files per project/construction job. Participate in internal and external audits. Supervise and guide junior accounting assistants (if applicable).
