Shape how the company sells and grows, with senior leadership potential MatchGrant is an AI\-powered grant discovery and management platform that helps small and mid\-sized nonprofits win more funding without needing a full\-time grant writer. We use advanced AI and a proprietary data engine (including 990 data) to match organizations with highly relevant funding opportunities and streamline the end\-to\-end grant process. We’re hiring a foundational **Account Executive** to own the full sales cycle and drive the next stage of revenue growth. This is a fully remote role with a short sales cycle (typically 2–4 weeks), a warm pipeline of qualified demos, and strong upside through base \+ commission with a ramping quota in the first 60 days. You’ll work closely with the founder and product team, selling a mission\-driven product that directly helps nonprofits unlock new funding. #### **What you’ll do** * Own the **full sales cycle** from demo to close for new nonprofit customers. * Run structured **discovery calls** with Executive Directors, Development leaders, CFOs, and other nonprofit decision\-makers. * Deliver compelling **product demos** , clearly articulate ROI, and guide prospects through evaluation. * Convert **trial users and warm leads** into paid subscriptions; manage a short 2–4 week sales cycle. * Maintain an organized **pipeline and forecast** , keeping CRM data clean and current. * Collaborate closely with the **founder and product team** to refine messaging, talk tracks, and objection handling. * Share feedback from the field to help improve pricing, packaging, and product roadmap over time. #### **What we’re looking for** You might be a strong fit if you: * Have **SaaS closing experience** , ideally in the **$2K–$10K ACV** range. * Are comfortable running **consultative discovery** , delivering a crisp demo, and confidently asking for the close. * Understand selling into **mission\-driven organizations** (nonprofits, social impact, churches, etc.) or are excited to learn. * Are **self\-directed and disciplined** in a fully remote environment; you manage your own calendar and follow\-ups. * Care about **nonprofits, social impact, or faith\-driven entrepreneurship** and want your work to matter. * Want to **build something meaningful** , not just grind through quota. **Bonus points if:** * You’ve sold to **nonprofits** before (fundraising, donor management, CRM, or similar tools). * You understand **subscription SaaS** and basic sales metrics (pipeline coverage, win rates, ACV). * You’ve worked at an **early\-stage startup** and are comfortable with some ambiguity and fast iteration. #### **What success looks like** * **First 30 days** + Learn the product, personas, and demo flow in depth. + Shadow demos and start running parts of the call. + Close your **first deal** . * **First 60 days** + Fully own your **pipeline** from first call through close. + Maintain a consistent **demo\-to\-close conversion rate** . + Hit your **ramping quota** . * **90\+ days** + Operating at **full quota** with predictable performance. + Contributing feedback on messaging, objections, and sales process. + Helping refine **pricing, packaging, and sales playbooks** as we scale. #### **Why join MatchGrant now?** * **Mission\-driven product:** You’re helping nonprofits unlock real funding for real programs. * **Short sales cycle (2–4 weeks):** See impact and commission quickly. * **Warm pipeline:** Consistent flow of qualified demos—this isn’t pure cold outbound. * **Clear value prop:** AI \+ 990 data \+ real revenue wins already in market. * **Early team upside:** You won’t be “rep \#37\.” You’ll help shape how we sell and grow, with room to move into **senior sales leadership** as the team expands.
