Arcos Vallarta – Guadalajara, Jalisco** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A leading company specializing in the design and assembly of structural steel structures is seeking: **Structural Design Engineer (structural steel)** Education: Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Structural Design degree. Monthly gross salary: $10,000.00 to $15,000.00 Additional project-based commissions and commission per calculation report. Statutory benefits and IMSS. **Prior work experience in structural steel design is mandatory (e.g., racks, industrial warehouses/sheds, shelving, pallet racking, vehicle bodies, automotive components, etc.)** Required software: AutoCAD (intermediate or advanced), Office, and Outlook. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with one hour for lunch). Work location: Col. Arcos Vallarta, Gdl, Jal. Responsibilities: * Design and detailing of structural steel drawings (industrial sheds, racks, shelving). * Development of detailed/shop engineering drawings when required for fabrication of project components. * Creation of assembly and/or operation manuals for products offered by the company; such manuals must include assembly drawings of components. * Standardization of designs and engineering deliverables wherever feasible. * Implementation of new controls and improvements to the company’s engineering manual processes, as well as communication with internal and external clients. * Generation and updating of final drawings as the final deliverable provided to the client.
