Job Summary: We are seeking a Metal Structures Design Engineer to perform modeling, analysis, and fabrication design, prepare structural calculation reports, and review structural drawings. Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and erection teams in a coordinated manner. **Metal Structures seeks a Metal Structures Design Engineer in Arcos Vallarta Colony \- Guadalajara, Jalisco** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A leading company in the design and erection of metal structures is seeking: **Metal Structures Design Engineer** Education: Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Structural Design degree. Monthly gross salary from $10,000\.00 to $15,000\.00 Additional project-based commissions and bonuses per structural calculation report. Statutory benefits and IMSS coverage. **Prior professional experience in metal structure design or structural calculation (e.g., racks, industrial warehouses/sheds, shelving, sheet metal work, vehicle bodies, automotive applications, etc.) is mandatory.** Required software: AutoCAD (intermediate or advanced level), Microsoft Office, and Outlook. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (including one hour for lunch). Work location: Arcos Vallarta Colony, Guadalajara, Jalisco. Responsibilities: * Perform detailed modeling, analysis, and fabrication design of metal structures (industrial sheds, racks, shelving, sheet metal work). * Prepare structural calculation reports. * Design and review bolted and welded connections. * Optimize structural profiles and sections. * Review structural and shop drawings. * Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and erection departments. * Provide technical clarifications during project execution.
