Position Summary: We are seeking a Junior OpenShift Engineer with experience in Red Hat and middleware (Apache/Tomcat) migrations for a platform modernization and upgrade project. Key Highlights: 1. At IDS Comercial, we are seeking a **Junior OpenShift Engineer with experience in Red Hat and middleware (Apache/Tomcat) migrations** to join a platform modernization and upgrade project. We seek a technical, hands-on profile with analytical and troubleshooting capabilities in enterprise Linux environments. **Technical Requirements:** **Infrastructure / Platform** * Solid **OpenShift (operational-level)** experience * Management and updating of images (containers/pods) * Resource administration (CPU, memory, storage) * Experience in Red Hat version migrations (7 → 8 → 9) **Middleware** * Configuration and administration of **Apache** * Experience with **Tomcat (v8 and migration to v10+)** * Configuration of web servers and application servers **Operating System** * Red Hat Linux administration * Validation of dependencies and library compatibility **Development / Compatibility** * Knowledge of Java (JDK 8 / 11 / 17) * Impact analysis for version changes * Library updates and basic recompilation * Database connectivity (JDBC drivers) **Batch Processes** * Execution of batch processes in Linux * Use of SSH * Permission configuration * Basic automation Desired Profile: * Prior experience in Red Hat migrations * Real-world OpenShift experience (not just theoretical knowledge) * Operational technical profile (not architect) * Analytical and problem-solving capability Location: * Mexico City (Hybrid modality) We Offer: * Certification discounts * Statutory and above-statutory benefits * Commercial agreements We are an inclusive company, free from any form of discrimination, where opportunities are available to those who demonstrate attitude and talent.
