At Hey Talent Connect, we are partnering with a consulting firm specialized in sustainability and climate change to add a key position to their team: **Sustainable Finance Analyst** Mexico City \| Hybrid Scheme We are looking for a professional with strong financial analysis expertise and understanding of ESG variables, capable of translating sustainability risks, opportunities and KPIs into strategic financial insights for decision\-making. **Please note: only candidates with academic backgrounds in Finance, Economics or Accounting will be considered for this position.** **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze and interpret financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement) for companies and issuers across different industries. * Evaluate financial performance, profitability, risks and opportunities of companies and projects. * Assess how ESG risks and opportunities may impact financial statements, cash flows and business performance. * Translate sustainability\-related risks and opportunities into financial variables and metrics. * Convert sustainability KPIs into financial KPIs. * Develop financial analysis, projections and scenario assessments to support strategic decision\-making. * Integrate financial and accounting information into sustainability, climate risk and financial disclosure projects under frameworks such as IFRS S1 and S2\. * Conduct alignment analysis of projects and activities under the Mexican Sustainable Taxonomy for sustainable finance and disclosure purposes. * Analyze and document information required for CNBV sustainability reporting and disclosure requirements. * Review and analyze financial information under IFRS standards, including IFRS 18 presentation and disclosure requirements. * Prepare strategic reports, analysis and high\-level deliverables for clients across multiple sectors. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting. Master’s degree or specialization in Sustainability, ESG or Sustainable Finance is a plus. * 4–6 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting interpretation and financial risk assessment for companies or issuers. * Strong experience reviewing and interpreting financial statements under IFRS standards. * Proven knowledge of ESG risks and opportunities with financial impact. * Familiarity with sustainability and financial disclosure frameworks such as IFRS S1/S2, Sustainable Taxonomies and CNBV requirements. * Experience developing financial models, projections and scenario analysis related to climate, ESG, transition or regulatory risks. * Experience quantifying financial impacts associated with ESG risks and opportunities, including impacts on cash flow, financing access and cost of capital. * Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytical and financial modeling tools such as SQL, Python, Stata, Power BI or similar. * Experience working with ESG and financial information providers such as Bloomberg, MSCI ESG, CSA, FTSE Russell, S\&P Global or similar. * Advanced English level (C1\). * Strong interest in sustainability, ESG and sustainability\-related financial disclosure.
