Description
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical **Junior Accounting Coordinator**, capable of coordinating and supervising income and expense accounting activities, ensuring tax compliance and providing timely information for strategic decision-making.
**Position Objective**
Coordinate and supervise accounting activities related to income and expenses, ensuring strict compliance with current tax and legal regulations, as well as proper integration of processes for the Administrative and General Management.
**Key Responsibilities and Activities**
* **Supervision of Income and Expenses:** Verify accurate accounting recording of the foundation’s income (donations and contributions) and expenses, overseeing corresponding bank reconciliations.
* **Tax Document Issuance and Validation:** Review, validate, and issue invoices, tax receipts, payment complements, reimbursements, and transfers, ensuring documentary support and compliance with tax provisions.
* **Monthly Closing and Financial Reporting:** Coordinate the monthly accounting closing for the team under supervision, consolidating financial information for internal and external audits.
* **Payroll and Labor Obligations Management:** Review and record organizational payroll; submit movements and taxes to IMSS and Infonavit via IDSE; verify calculation of employer contributions and withholdings.
* **Management of Special Funds:** Control petty cash, process deductible expenses, submit account statements, and manage payments corresponding to COP Foundation.
* **Team Management:** Provide guidance, training, and performance supervision for staff under supervision (Income and Expense Assistants).
**Profile Requirements**
* **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (Professional Title and License Certificate are mandatory).
* **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in similar coordination or general accounting roles (employment letter required).
* **Technical Knowledge:** \* Proficiency in CONTPAQi software (mandatory).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Intermediate/Advanced Excel).
* Familiarity with IDSE, IMSS, and Infonavit platforms.
* **Language:** Intermediate English.
* **Additional Requirements:** Valid driver’s license (Class A).
