We specialize in seasonal products and stationery. **Job Description** We are seeking a Cost Engineer to lead and optimize cost management across our production processes. Your responsibilities will include generating, validating, and analyzing financial and operational manufacturing data to ensure accurate determination of standard and actual costs, thereby supporting the integrity of financial statements and strategic decision-making. These responsibilities will encompass cost analysis, planning and control, budget preparation, and implementation of efficiency strategies to maximize resource utilization. This is a full-time, on-site position located at our facilities in Toluca de Lerdo, MEX. **Responsibilities** * Calculate and maintain machinery, labor, and indirect cost rates; define absorption bases; assess installed and effective capacity; validate cycle times, routings, work centers; analyze scrap and yield; * Build and validate standard costs. * Analyze variances (standard vs. actual) and provide explanations to Finance. * Conduct efficiency analyses. * Determine machine-hour cost, considering depreciation, energy, and maintenance. * Evaluate installed versus utilized capacity. * Determine Standard Cycle Times: Time required to complete one work cycle (loading, transportation, unloading, return, packaging). * Determine Machine Capacity: Volume or weight (tons) produced per manufacturing cycle. * Develop standard templates for quoting new products and projects. * Identify opportunities for cost reduction. **Requirements** \- Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. \- Certifications in **industrial costing / lean manufacturing.** \- **3 to 5 years of experience** in manufacturing costing. \-\_ **Proficiency in standard costing, variance analysis, and ERP systems.**\_ **\- ADVANCED EXCEL.** Salary: $35,000\.00 \- $45,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Company parking * Free parking * Life insurance * Discounted cafeteria service * Company phone Workplace: On-site employment
