Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking staff for a specialty coffee bar involving ingredient production, recipe preparation, food assembly, customer service, and inventory support.
Key Highlights:
1. Production and assembly of food items at a specialty coffee bar
2. Customer service support and general bar tasks
3. Possibility to negotiate shifts and schedules
We have been operating for over a year as a specialty coffee bar (serving food and adhering to kosher protocols), offering a cold bar food menu. The primary responsibility of this position is ingredient production for daily operations — including preparing certain recipes (with guidance from our recipe book), and food preparation and assembly. You will also assist with routine tasks such as customer service, dishwashing, serving, and inventory support.
We operate two shifts, plus an "extended" work schedule: five days per week at 6.30 hours each, and one day per week at 12 hours. Shifts and schedules are naturally rotated, but negotiation is possible. At this location, the morning shift starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 2:30 PM; operations begin at 9:00 AM. The afternoon shift starts at 2:15 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.
There are two main commuting routes: either arrive via Polanco and walk to Auditorio (until the station reopens), then take a bus that drops you within a few meters of the location; or board a bus from the Chapultepec bus stop. In both cases, ensure the bus displays "Av. Palmas".
Monthly tips typically average around 2,000 pesos, though this may vary significantly. Payroll is biweekly — every other Tuesday.
There are two probationary periods: the first lasts from 2 to 6 days, during which salary is paid at 50%; after this period, employment is formalized.
If you have any questions regarding the position, please feel free to write.
