




Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Community Manager in media and news to manage and optimize social media platforms quickly, with editorial judgment and a results-oriented approach. We require a Community Manager with experience in media, news, or current affairs content who can operate social media platforms swiftly, with editorial judgment and a results-oriented focus. OBJECTIVE: Manage and optimize the agency’s clients’ social media accounts by creating and implementing strategies that enhance visibility, attract new customers, and retain existing ones. REQUIREMENTS: * Prior experience as a Community Manager, Social Media Manager, or similar role. * Experience in media, journalism, news, politics, current affairs, or informational content is desirable. * Excellent writing, spelling, and ability to craft clear, purposeful headlines. * Solid knowledge of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube. * Ability to work under pressure and respond rapidly without compromising judgment. * Strong sense for identifying trends, content angles, and conversation opportunities. * Sensitivity to political, social, and current affairs topics. * Organization, follow-up capability, and teamwork skills. * Editorial judgment to handle sensitive content and avoid publishing errors or misaligned messaging. * Proficiency with tools such as Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, TikTok, CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms. * Experience covering live events, broadcasts, or real-time posts. * Solid understanding of platform community guidelines and policies. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Publish, schedule, and monitor daily social media content. * Adapt press releases, clips, interviews, coverage reports, and videos into platform-specific formats. * Provide real-time coverage of trending topics, public agenda items, and breaking news. * Write compelling, clear, and brand-voice-aligned copy. * Monitor trends, public conversations, competitors, and emerging topics. * Coordinate with editorial, production, design, and video teams for content releases. * Support promotion of programs, interviews, special coverage, and live broadcasts. * Prepare performance reports and propose continuous improvements to formats, timing, copy, and publishing strategy. * We Offer: * A dynamic and challenging position at a leading agency in the industry. * A positive and flexible work environment. * Opportunities for professional development.
