CONTROL DESK ASSISTANT

Description

Position Summary: Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, managing transportation-related information, incidents, and documentation, and preparing operational reports. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages and updates trip, carrier, and delivery information in SAP. 2. Reports and coordinates corrective actions for in-transit incidents. 3. Prepares daily operational reports using SAP and Excel. * Register and update trip, carrier, vehicle, and delivery information in logistics systems and **SAP**. * Monitor shipment, pickup, and delivery status with customers and carriers. * Report in-transit incidents (delays, route deviations, mechanical failures, accidents) and coordinate corrective actions. * Validate transportation documentation such as waybills, invoices, loading orders, and proof-of-delivery evidence. * Coordinate communication among carriers, customers, and internal departments (traffic, warehouse, customer service). * Prepare daily operational reports on route performance, delivery times, and service levels using tools such as **SAP** and Excel. * Maintain trip logs, loading/unloading times, and schedule adherence records. * Manage and archive physical and digital documentation related to transportation services. * Operate and query **SAP** modules for order tracking, invoicing, and logistics control.
