Continuous training and development opportunities Main Responsibilities: Prepare budgets and cost analyses for new and ongoing projects. Generate comparisons between actual vs. budgeted costs and identify variances. Coordinate closely with procurement, engineering, operations, and management to ensure accurate information. Conduct market studies to validate prices, materials, and suppliers. Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal conditions regarding price, quality, and delivery time. Prepare clear, structured, and decision-focused executive reports. Monitor cost flow and control throughout each project’s lifecycle. Propose improvements to costing, control, and standardization processes. Actively participate in planning and decision-making meetings. Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of prices, suppliers, and materials. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or related field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in costs, budgeting, or financial analysis (preferably in construction, engineering, or manufacturing). Knowledge of interpreting blueprints and technical specifications (preferred). Proficiency in cost software and ERP systems (preferred). Availability to work in Mexicali and travel occasionally within the state if required by the project. Success Indicators (KPIs): Timely and accurate budget delivery. Accuracy of forecasts versus actual costs. Percentage reduction in budget variances. Effective supplier negotiations (documented savings). Achievement of quarterly departmental goals.
