Requirements: \- Completed professional studies in Gastronomy \- Gender: Indifferent \- Marital status: Indifferent \- Experience in hospital settings: 1 year (Desirable) Schedule: \- 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Salary: \- $10,600\.00 net monthly \+ $600\.00 monthly food vouchers General job objective: \- Coordinate, supervise, and optimize the preparation and service of nutritious and safe food, ensuring compliance with patients’ and hospital staff’s specific dietary needs and instructions, as well as proper operational functionality of the kitchen area and personnel. Main responsibilities: \- Prepare meals for patients strictly adhering to the diet log. \- Train staff on the correct use of kitchen utensils, food assembly, and preparation techniques. \- Maintain close communication with clinical nutrition to ensure proper patient dietary care and distribution. \- Assist in providing food to patients and/or customers of the hospital unit. \- Record internal food temperatures in the logbook. \- Record refrigerator and freezer temperatures in the logbook. \- Generate purchase requests for raw materials and supplies according to service requirements, if needed. \- Receive and verify that ordered items are complete, undamaged, and have acceptable expiration dates. \- Assist in cleaning, disinfecting, and storing incoming supplies. \- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and order according to the comprehensive cleaning logbook. \- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and order according to the comprehensive cleaning logbook.
