Responsible for planting, irrigation, and fumigation in test plots. **About the Opportunity** ========================= The Test Plot Supervisor is a professional and flexible contributor who supports the Lead Supervisor or Manager as applicable. For this position, practical capability and willingness to assume responsibility for daily agricultural operations in the test plot are required. A proven track record in field personnel management is essential. This role is responsible for coordinating all cultural practices, technical management, data collection, and monitoring activities in the Test Plot. Additionally, the incumbent collaborates cross-functionally with all involved departments and fosters a positive work environment for all employees.**Responsibilities** ==================== * Supervise general field operations Through consistent and effective communication between field staff and the Lead Supervisor. Ongoing supervision to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks. Maintain continuous communication with staff, consistently reinforcing company values. * Planting and establishment of berry and rotational crop trials. Coordinate installation of tunnels, mulching, plot marking, and trellising as applicable. Execute plantings according to crop/system and organizational plan provided by the Lead Supervisor. * Monitor compliance with food safety, occupational safety, and social compliance requirements. Track employee adherence to current Driscoll’s policies and regulatory requirements. * Monitor proper operation of agricultural machinery and equipment. Track preventive and corrective maintenance of agricultural machinery and equipment. Ensure staff are trained for safe use of tools and machinery. * General responsibilities Validate and coordinate organization and cleanliness of materials, tools, work areas, and common areas (dining areas, warehouses, restrooms, offices, parking lots). Coordinate inventory of materials, tools, and equipment. * Supervise irrigation and fumigation execution Ensure timely and accurate implementation per the weekly irrigation and fumigation schedule. Supervise pest and disease monitoring activities. Prepare application reports for fruit entry into coolers. Coordinate calibration of personnel and application equipment. Provide spray recipes to irrigation and fumigation teams. Verify correct application dosages. **Candidate Profile** ===================== Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Greenhouse Management, or Agricultural Sciences * Experience in similar positions: 1\-3 years * Experience managing people: 1 year * Demonstrated experience in planning. * Solid foundation in agricultural production and agronomic sciences. * Proficiency in computer software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). * Self-motivated, practical, capable of working independently and collaborating effectively within teams. * Demonstrated experience in planning. * Solid foundation in agricultural production and agronomic sciences. * Proficiency in computer software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). * Self-motivated, practical, capable of working independently and collaborating effectively within teams. * Detail-oriented, with effective verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational, mathematical, chemical, and analytical abilities. * Results- and solutions-oriented. * Open-minded attitude toward adopting new agricultural systems and technologies. * Knowledge of plant physiology, health assessment, pest pressure evaluation, substrate fertigation, and agricultural practices. * Intermediate English proficiency * Valid driver’s license
