Logistics Operations Supervisor

Description

OBJECTIVE Supervise and ensure the proper execution of daily warehouse and distribution operations in 3PL operations, guaranteeing compliance with productivity indicators, inventory control, service levels, safety, and quality through the appropriate management of operational personnel and assigned resources. RESPONSIBILITIES * Supervise receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, and returns operations. * Coordinate and manage shift-based operational personnel. * Ensure compliance with operational KPIs and SLAs established with the client. * Track operational incidents, inventory discrepancies, and damages. * Validate correct process execution within the WMS system. * Supervise cycle counts and inventory accuracy. * Ensure order, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards within the warehouse. * Generate daily operational reports and monitor key performance indicators. * Coordinate shipments and communication with internal departments and clients. * Participate in operational meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. REQUIREMENTS Education Completed or incomplete Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Logistics and/or Industrial Engineering. Experience Minimum 3 years as a Picking Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, or similar position. Mandatory experience in 3PL operations. Experience managing operational teams of 20 to 50 people. Experience in high-volume distribution centers. Knowledge of the following processes: Picking Packing Shipping Receiving Inventory management Technical Knowledge WMS proficiency. Use of handheld / RF devices. Management of operational KPIs: IRA ILA Productivity Fill Rate Inventory accuracy Intermediate Excel skills. 5S methodology. Workload balancing.
