We are looking for a **WordPress Development Assistant** with a technical focus to support the **building, customization, optimization, and maintenance of WordPress websites**, ensuring fast, secure, and functional platforms with proper integration of multimedia content. **Requirements** Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Systems Engineering, Digital Communication, or related field. 1–2 years of experience working with WordPress. Knowledge of: * WordPress **(mandatory)** * PHP and JavaScript * HTML5 and CSS3 * Visual page builders (Elementor, Divi and/or Gutenberg) * Vimeo and Zoom (operational/technical level) **Main Responsibilities** * Development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress websites. * Configuration and fine-tuning of themes and plugins. * Creation of pages and landing pages using visual page builders (Elementor, Divi or Gutenberg). * Performance optimization (page load speed, images, caching). * Integration of videos from Vimeo into WordPress. * Technical configuration of Zoom sessions and webinars. * Updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins. * Backup management and general maintenance. * Basic implementation of web security (SSL and best practices). * Ensuring responsive design across mobile and desktop devices. **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. **We Offer** $12,000 net initial monthly salary, increasing to $14,000 net upon permanent hiring.
