Job Summary: We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to configure and manage IT services, including software, storage, servers, and security. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive management of IT infrastructure services. 2. Management of key technologies such as virtualization, firewalls, and databases. 3. Preventive and corrective maintenance of infrastructure equipment. 2D DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT IS SEEKING TALENT INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER Work Location (Nextipac, Jalisco) Objective: Configure and manage IT infrastructure services, such as software, storage devices, servers, cybersecurity, operating systems, and data networks. Requirements: - Understanding of infrastructure requirements. - Experience with storage devices, servers, virtualization, firewalls, LAN & WAN. - Knowledge of hypervisors (VMware) and creation of virtual machines. - Administration and configuration of firewall rules. - Proficiency in ServiceNow (incident handling and ticket escalation). - Knowledge of database administration in SQL Server 2016 and 2019 (general). - Execution of website hosting, configuration, and parameterization. - Preventive and corrective maintenance of infrastructure equipment. - Knowledge of structured cabling (copper and fiber optic). - Familiarity with types of fiber optic cable and connectors. - Knowledge of UTP cable termination. - General networking knowledge: fiber connection at patch panels, switch and server connections. - Knowledge of Azure Cloud (AZ-900 certification preferred). - Willingness to travel. - Proficiency in Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - Intermediate-to-advanced English (oral and written communication).
