### **Operating Room Coordinator** We are seeking a professional with experience and exceptional skills for the position of Operating Room Coordinator at Hospitales MAC. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and managing surgical operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in all processes. Your leadership and coordination will be key to maintaining an optimal work environment and ensuring patient and medical team satisfaction. Key Requirements: Develop strategic and operational plans for the management of nursing services in surgical areas * Maintain direct communication with your immediate supervisor regarding the progress of actions and issues arising in surgical areas and in the operation of nursing programs. * Deliver daily reports on surgical scheduling, as well as assignment and reassignment of personnel in charge. • Measure quality and productivity indicators of the Nursing Department. • Manage information for measuring nursing care indicators. * Implement safe processes, policies, protocols, and procedures for patients based on work plans and best practices in compliance with current regulations. * Ensure staffing coverage according to specific standards for perioperative patient care. * Qualitatively and quantitatively manage the necessary materials and equipment to provide timely care to patients during surgical events. * Develop a contingency plan to respond to resource shortages and ensure effective and high-quality care for all patients. * Address and follow up on complaints from various stakeholder groups (doctors, patients, family members) to ensure a high level of satisfaction. * Respond together with nursing management to incidents reported through the internal reporting system by implementing improvement plans. • Coordinate the established activity plan across all shifts. • Conduct physical rounds of the area to verify order and cleanliness conditions. * Establish nurse-to-patient ratios according to the needs of surgical areas and CEYE, based on staff competencies and skills. * Promptly report absenteeism to carry out personnel assignment and reassignment according to established procedures. * Ensure nursing staff comply with Hospitales MAC's philosophy, objectives, care standards, indicators, and policies. * Build warm interpersonal relationships with patients and families on a regular basis to obtain direct information that allows evaluation of nursing care quality. * Establish and disseminate quality standards for good nursing practice. * Participate in the selection and orientation of newly hired nursing personnel. * Ensure that both current and newly hired staff possess the necessary competencies and skills for perioperative patient care.
