We are now looking for our next **EHS Supervisor**, a key player in building Mexico’s next unicorn. ### **The Role** The **EHS Supervisor** is responsible for ensuring operational safety, occupational health, and environmental compliance at the plant. This role holds authority to halt machinery or activities posing risks, lead incident investigations, coordinate audits and external services, and strengthen a preventive safety culture across all organizational levels. ### **Key Responsibilities** ### **️ Safety, Health, and Compliance** * Safeguard assets, facilities, and personnel integrity. * Ensure compliance with current regulations (STPS, Civil Protection, SEMARNAT, among others). Manage procedures, inspections, regulatory audits, and legal and environmental documentation. * ### **Operations and Risk Prevention** * Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards (LOTO, work permits). * Approve and validate work permits and supervise their proper execution on-site. Maintain signage, fire-fighting equipment, hydrants, and extinguishers in optimal condition. * ### **Culture, Training, and Investigation** * Promote a safety and prevention culture. * Coordinate trainings, onboarding, EHS campaigns, and safety talks. Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses, conducting root cause analysis and follow-up on CAPAs. * ### **Occupational Health and Emergencies** * Administer occupational health programs (medical examinations, ergonomics, exposure monitoring). * Develop and maintain emergency response plans. Coordinate and train emergency brigades, as well as plan and evaluate drills. * ### **Environment and Contractors** * Manage waste, hazardous materials, and environmental controls. * Ensure environmental compliance, permits, and reporting. Manage contractor safety requirements, evaluations, and audits. * ### **Management and Reporting** * Maintain the EHS document control system. * Track safety performance indicators. * Prepare EHS reports for senior management and support internal and external audits. **Requirements** ### **Experience and Profile** * Experience in **Good Manufacturing Practices** (food and/or supplements). * Knowledge of STPS regulations, ergonomics, and safety and health campaigns on production floors. * Familiarity with pressure vessels and machinery safety systems. * Experience in safety incident analysis. * **2 years** in food companies or **3 years** in other industries as an EHS Supervisor or Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Manager. * Education: **Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field**. ### **Ready to take your impact to the next level?** Join Birdman and help us shape the future of plant-based innovation. **Apply now!**
