Job Objective: Contribute to the company’s profitability through successful negotiations with Primary Packaging suppliers, coordinating procurement and supply to meet the timelines required by the Planning Department while fulfilling the quality specifications of each raw material. Requirements: Degree in Administration / International Business / Industrial Engineering or related field. 4 years of experience preferred in Manufacturing (preferably food or consumer goods), specifically in packaging material and raw material procurement. Basic knowledge of International Trade (import/export). Responsibilities: Maintain close relationships with suppliers to build strategic alliances (business partners) that foster mutual benefits in the marketing of their products. Conduct negotiations for raw material procurement and ensure timely supply to the Planning Department. Issue purchase orders, obtain quotations, and secure optimal conditions regarding quality, service, and cost. Maintain an updated supplier list and raw material price list to support accurate budget management. Monitor purchase order execution until supplier delivery and warehouse receipt, ensuring compliance with quality specifications. Track material returns due to poor condition or non-compliance with the issued purchase order, requesting corresponding credit notes from suppliers and ensuring supplier retrieval of returned materials. Prospect, negotiate, and maintain an updated supplier catalog; alternatively, develop new suppliers offering opportunities to improve business profitability.
